We are seeking a highly experienced IAM Architect specializing in Consumer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) with 20+ years of total experience, including 15+ years in the IAM domain.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in architecting and designing CIAM solutions using tools like Ping or ForgeRock, and must have led at least two large-scale CIAM implementations.
This role is technical in nature and requires expertise in identity platforms, modern authentication methods, cloud architecture, and API-based integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Design and architect CIAM solutions leveraging Ping or ForgeRock platforms.
Lead the implementation of large-scale CIAM engagements, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
Translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions tailored to client environments.
Act as the IAM platform identity broker to manage user identities across disparate systems.
Implement Identity Proofing, Fraud and Risk Management, and Journey-time orchestration.
Ensure CIAM platform compliance with GDPR and manage user consent effectively.
Integrate CIAM solutions with APIs, external identity providers, and third-party systems.
Implement "Bring Your Own Authentication" and federated identity models.
Guide development teams in best practices related to CI/CD, DevOps, and infrastructure as code.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and non-technical teams to communicate technical solutions effectively.
Document architecture and contribute to Agile development efforts (SCRUM/Kanban).
Required Qualifications
20+ years of overall IT experience, including 15+ years in the IAM domain. Hands-on experience designing and delivering CIAM solutions using Ping or ForgeRock (mandatory). Successfully led at least two large-scale CIAM implementations. Strong technical knowledge in CIAM features such as: Identity brokering Identity Proofing & Verification Consent Management & GDPR compliance API-based IDP integrations Experience with Okta, Entra ID, or similar identity platforms (preferred in addition to Ping/ForgeRock). Knowledge of RESTful API design and cloud-native services in AWS or Azure. Understanding of DevOps principles and hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools and Agile methodologies. Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience working in cloud-native or hybrid environments. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to lead and mentor technical teams across CIAM projects.
