Hubbell Incorporated The Territory Manager is responsible for the sales and promotion of Killark - Lighting, Fittings, Connectors and Distribution and Control products, Hawke International – Cable Glands, EX Connectors and Junction Boxes, and GaiTronics – PAGA systems. Target markets include, but are not limited to: distributors, end users, electrical contractors, and working with Engineers and Consultants to further specifications. The territory covers the Eastern region of Louisiana. The ideal candidate should reside in either the Baton Rouge or New Orleans area. Specification is key to the growth of Killark's & GaiTronic’s business. A Field Sales Rep. needs to understand our position in comparison to our competitors and be able to articulate the features, advantages, and benefits of our line. Drive demand for Killark, GaiTronic, and Hawke products in the assigned territory to achieve quotas. Conduct sales calls on distributors, contractors, industrial MRO, and OEM customers. Train distributor personnel to sell and promote the various product lines. Manage supporting distributors' inventory to ensure proper stock levels to support demand. Manage available distributor marketing funds to effectively promote sales. Maintain accurate records of sales opportunities and contacts in SalesForce. Develop sales and marketing plans with stocking distribution to meet mutually agreed sales goals. Build rapport and strong relationships with distribution, end-users, and specifiers. What will help you thrive in this role?

A four-year college degree with five years of related industry sales experience or a minimum high school diploma with 8+ years of industry sales experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience with Salesforce is desired. Proficient computer skills—must have strong Microsoft Office, email, and other PC application skills. OEM & MRO technical sales experience is a plus. Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully; develop alternative solutions.
