About the Role: Youre a creative, collaborative thinker, detail oriented public relations director that doesnt shy away from a challenge. You have a team-oriented attitude, youre proactive and have a strong voice to manage and lead projects. You dont wait for projects to be assigned, you dig into the clients business to help elicit success and growth. You work hard, have fun along the way, youre proud of the work you deliverall the while having a passion for emerging trends not just within the industry, but broader socially. Your plate will be full. Your ability to prioritize and juggle will be challenged. Your opinion will be sought. But at the end of the day, you will move the needle for clients, new business efforts and have a tremendous sense of accomplishment.

What We Want You To Do: Manage and begin to lead the agencys day-to-day relationship with select clients and internal teams through effective communication, problem solving and facilitating successful consumer engagement initiatives Work with team to develop client communication strategies, plans and insightful briefs Manage media relations activities for traditional and digital media; including media list development, sourcing new media outlets and pitching, spotting and capitalizing on media and influencer opportunities Lead the sourcing of influencers for client initiatives and effectively negotiate contracts Work cohesively within social media platforms to deliver on-brand messages Effectively write (creative) press releases to capture the interest in key media for pick-up Ability to provide unique communications solutions that raise the client / brand's profile with key audiences Proven ability to interact with senior-level executives and press; confidence and strong interpersonal skills Experience in the advertising and media landscape with a strong consumer PR background Manage the work and performance of junior team members to have them successfully deliver their goals and enable them to grow within their career Qualifications

Creative, positive, and high-energy individual with an ability to execute flawlessly Strong core competency in public relations: successfully working with internal teams, develop strong partner relationships and be able to develop and execute a wide range of ideas Ability to effectively communicate and present the agency/clients vision, recommendations and feedback to a range of internal and external teams Desire to be a leader, passionate about involving others to develop unique programs that drive results Ability to juggle multiple projects and adapt to an ever-changing workload Digitally savvy with fluency with the latest developments in social and new media Excellent writing and verbal communication skills Ability to deliver quality written materials (new business plans, PR strategies, press releases, analytics) Strong attention to detail, organized, flexible and able to solve problems Proficient in Keynote for Mac and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, etc.) and skilled in Cision, CubeYou, HootSuite (or similar social media listening/tracking tools) 7+ years experience in a PR agency or in-house PR department Bachelors degree (preferably in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations) Additional Information
