Illuminate seeks an exceptionally qualified Systems Architect to join a mission-focused team that maintains applications, services, micro-services, Platform as a Service (PaaS), and support services. The effort requires the maintenance and enhancement of an application and underlying services/microservices current capabilities while identifying future needs and eliminating overlaps. The team will continuously improve sustainment and development to reinvest resources in providing new capabilities and enhancing the effectiveness, quality, and robustness of the underlying technology. Our applications are focused on intelligence analysis and collection management, directly supporting intelligence analysts and operators across the intelligence community and Combatant Commands. Responsibilities Support the development of cross-functional or large-scale automated information systems, including enterprise architectures and AWS Cloud technologies when needed. Design system architectures encompassing software, hardware, and communications to meet current and future requirements and interfaces. Provide comprehensive definitions of all aspects of system development, from mission needs analysis to system performance verification. Evaluate system alternatives and assess risks and costs.

Qualifications

Clearance: TS / SCI Polygraph: current Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph Must be DoD 8570 compliant at IA Technical (IAT) / IA Management (IAM) Level 2 Experience working on a development team under DoD / DIA DevSecOps processes Understanding of Oracle and/or CENTOS-based architecture Analytical skills with the ability to prioritize needs and requirements effectively Education and Experience: - High School Diploma / GED - Associates Degree - Bachelor's Degree - Master's Degree - PhD

Preferred Qualifications Bachelors degree in information technology or information management, with at least eight years of comparable work experience. Up to ten or more years of program/application operations experience. Experience in the Intelligence Community is preferred. Strong risk management, communication, teamwork, and conflict management skills.
