Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Front End Wheel Loader Operator to join our team at a small manufacturing facility with a 30,000 square foot warehouse. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a front-end wheel loader to manage a wood yard of wood chips, load materials, and contribute to maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Responsibilities Operate a front-end wheel loader to efficiently manage a wood yard, including organizing and handling wood chips. Load materials onto conveyor or designated areas, ensuring accurate and safe placement. Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance to ensure the wheel loader's optimal performance. Manage and organize the wood yard, including proper storage and arrangement of wood chips. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and promote a secure working environment. Collaborate with team members to coordinate loading schedules and meet production requirements. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the proper disposal of waste materials. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly to the supervisor. Requirements
Proven experience as a front-end wheel loader operator, preferably in a manufacturing or wood yard setting. Valid front-end wheel loader operator certification. Ability to operate a front-end wheel loader safely and efficiently, with attention to detail. Understanding of wood yard management, including handling and organizing wood chips. Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
