Position Description:
Develop highly innovative UI design and Web components through collaboration with other experts. Continually assess technological advancements to recommend improved solutions that enhance the software developer experience and delivery efficiency.
Rewrite existing ColdFusion application code in Node.js and perform releases in the Modern Development Environment (MDE).
Participate in all customer technical discussions, design, and development meetings, providing technical input to improve code quality and processes.
Perform front-end development using modern JavaScript with ES6+ features, including classes, arrow functions, template literals, modules, as well as XML.
Write unit test cases.
Impact functional strategy by developing new solutions, processes, standards, or operational plans to keep the client competitive.
Provide guidance and support to junior/mid-level developers.
Perform all other duties as assigned or directed.
Key Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript, ES6+ features, ColdFusion 8 or above, web component development, CSS, CSS preprocessors like SASS and LESS, Stencil.js, Node.js, React, and Angular.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years of experience in related fields. Advanced degrees may substitute for experience.
10+ years of experience with web component development using modern JavaScript, CSS, SASS, LESS, ES6+, and Stencil.js.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript and TypeScript.
Senior-level experience with React, Angular, and Node.js.
Experience with CSS, Bootstrap, ColdFusion 2021, web component APIs, design systems, accessibility, debugging, web performance, Git, and build tools.
Excellent communication skills.
Desired Skills:
Experience with development tools, Agile methodologies, DevOps, Linux environments, and daily scrum participation.
