Job Description Infinite Convergence Solutions seeks an experienced Software Development Engineer to join a dynamic team working on cutting-edge technology, involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate should have a passion for solving business challenges through cloud technology, collaborating with architects and engineers to enhance Infinite’s messaging applications using container orchestration services. This role offers opportunities to learn new technologies, tools, and languages.
Minimum Requirements
Experience with C++, Java, and PHP 8
Familiarity with Linux OS and scripting languages
5-7 years of experience as a Software Engineer
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong understanding of software development fundamentals
Knowledge of data structures, databases, networks, and algorithms
Effective verbal and written communication skills
BSc in Computer Science or Software Engineering
Eligible to work in the US
Preferred Skills
Understanding of Container ecosystems and architecture
Experience with Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift
Familiarity with Helm, Deis Workflow
Experience with cloud platforms such as OpenStack and AWS
Experience working in Agile teams
Knowledge of automation, CI/CD tools, Git, Jenkins, SonarQube, Ansible
Location Chicago, IL metropolitan area.
