USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments. Architecture and Engineering support: Provides systems engineering and architecture support for AFNWC. Provides comprehensive systems and network engineering and architectural planning services. Interfaces with O&S personnel by providing strategic design and support to projects, as directed. Reviews existing architectures on a regular basis, recommending and assisting with the design and implementation of systems and network improvements as required. Responsible for planning, solutioning, and improvement of AFWNC capabilities with a specific focus on cybersecurity and the implementation and design of the application layer. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Deep knowledge in Model-Based Systems Engineering as well as one or more of the following DevSecOps skill areas: Collaboration services and Business Applications Collaboration service integration, CRM support Cybersecurity & Risk Management PKI/Certificate authority services, RMF Enterprise Infrastructure & Systems Management Thin/zero client and VDI, Disaster recovery & backup/restore, Active Directory services & DNS, DB structure management Network & Communications Technologies LAN/WAN and VoIP infrastructures, application delivery networking technology, wireless networking technology Storage & Mobility Mobile computing technology, data storage with expertise in SANs, NAS, iSCSI, and DAS technologies Virtualization & Cloud Technologies Cloud computing technology, containerization DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Must be capable of performing analysis of system operations Must be capable of system decomposition via OMG frameworks (UML, DoDAF 2.0/UPDM, SysML, UAF) Must be able to model systems via different perspectives (e.g. capability, operational, system, functional) and at various levels of abstraction Must be familiar with UML modeling tools (Cameo Enterprise Architect preferred) Must be able to meet with stakeholders in a variety of system domains and analyze requirement, process, system, and/or capability Must be capable of extending UML-based models to other tools or modeling environments via existing frameworks/API's Must be familiar with executable models (fUML specification preferred) Must have the ability to generate/produce data and reports WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED: Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science Required Experience: 10+ years of related experience Security Clearance Level: Must be willing to Obtain Top Secret with SCI eligibility Required Certifications: DoD 8140 qualified certification Ability to Obtain ITIL 4 Foundation - ITSM Certification within the first 9 months Location: Offutt, AFB US Citizenship Required DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Certification in modeling, e.g. OCSMP (OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional) Experience modeling complex systems for Department of Defense or other government organizations Preferred Certifications: ITIL 4 Foundation: Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP); or TOGAF Certified Architect; or ITIL 4 Managing Professional; or Lean Six Sigma Green belt; or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP); Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert; or Microsoft Certified Azure Network Engineer Associate. #SCITLS #J-18808-Ljbffr
