Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr Selected candidate is eligible for a one-time sign-on bonus of $4,000.00. Responsibilities Support cybersecurity operations, including managing personnel, applications, and appliances to defend the cyber terrain. Firewall management. Host intrusion detection/prevention systems management. Security information and event management (SIEM), e.g., audit log review and analysis. Vulnerability scanning. Incident response. Technical analysis and troubleshooting assistance. Support agency project tracking with the integrated master schedule. Present project updates to the agency change boards. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education and Certification Bachelor of Science in computer science or a related field, or 4-7 years of experience in cybersecurity. Certification at IAT or IAM level III (e.g., CASP, CCNP, CISA, CISSP, CISM). Skills and Experience Deep knowledge of systems engineering, security operations, incident response, user behavior analytics, and personnel management. Non-negotiable Requirements PowerShell and Bash scripting experience. Networking and firewall configuration skills. Authentication setup experience. DNS/IP configuration knowledge. Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with EPO/Trellix/ESS, Tenable/ACAS/Nessus, and Splunk Enterprise.
