Job Description: Job Summary:
Goldman Sachs is seeking a Technical Product Manager (TPM) with deep expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of IAM products and services. This role requires a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, can deep dive into complex technical and security domains, and work closely with customers and engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and user-centric IAM solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and drive the IAM product vision aligned with enterprise security goals and compliance requirements
Build and maintain a detailed product roadmap focused on authentication, authorization, identity lifecycle, and access governance
Engage with customers to understand pain points and shape impactful product features
Collaborate with engineering, architecture, security operations, and compliance teams for secure product delivery
Guide technical decision-making using IAM technologies (SSO, MFA, RBAC, OAuth, SAML, SCIM), APIs, and integration models
Define KPIs and success metrics for adoption, performance, and security posture improvements
Evaluate IAM trends, vendors, and emerging technologies to influence product innovation
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
5+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years in IAM, security, or infrastructure platforms
Proven experience delivering technical products involving identity federation, access control, authentication, and directory services
Hands‑on familiarity with IAM platforms such as Okta, Ping Identity, Azure AD, ForgeRock
Ability to create product requirements and user stories using Agile methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related discipline
Experience with cloud IAM (AWS IAM, Azure AD B2C, Google Cloud Identity)
Understanding of Zero Trust principles, Identity Governance, and Privileged Access Management (PAM)
Certifications:
CIAM (Certified Identity and Access Manager)
