We are seeking a Lead Analytics Engineer to take on a senior technical leadership role within our high-performing Data & Analytics team. This position is both strategic and hands-on, spanning overall platform architecture design and governance as well as owning data engineering, analytics engineering, and ML engineering. The Lead Analytics Engineer will develop advanced data systems, like our proprietary streaming IOT data to support stakeholders in Software, Hardware, Product, and Operations. The right candidate combines deep technical expertise with innovation and operational excellence, thriving in a hands-on role to deliver scalable, production-ready, high-impact data solutions.
Your Day to Day:
Design and build best-in-class reliable, scalable, and performant data architecture and data flows to support the democratization of data, analytics, AI, and ML initiatives.
Partner with cross-functional teams such as Software, Hardware, Product, and Operations to translate complex data needs into robust, production-ready solutions.
Identify, recommend, and implement the right tech stack to support streaming data - at scale - that integrates into our existing tech stack: FiveTran, Snowflake, DBT, Looker.
Own data ingestion, modeling, transformation, and orchestration for key data assets including IOT: machine sensors, digital UI interactions, and beverage consumption.
Define and enforce best practices for privacy, governance, and security to enable teams at all levels of data maturity to effectively leverage the platform.
Collaborate with Analytics and Data Science team members to enable advanced analytics, experimentation, and AI/ML modeling.
Provide technical leadership to engineers across the Data & Analytics organization.
Stay current with emerging data technologies and recommend strategic improvements to the data platform.
Who You Are:
4-8 years of experience in data, data engineering, analytics engineering, or ML engineering
Expert in streaming and batch IOT data pipelines for large-scale, real-time systems (e.g., Kafka, Spark, Influx)
Hands‑on experience with cloud data platforms and modern engineering tools (e.g., FiveTran, Snowflake, DBT)
Strong skills in SQL, Python, and building reliable, automated data workflows
Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT, and analytics pipeline design for self‑service data, analytics, and AI/ML applications
Experience ensuring data quality, governance, and observability across pipelines
Experience with data visualization tools and building the data models behind the scenes (e.g., Looker, PowerBI, Hex, DataDog, Grafana)
Proven ability to translate complex stakeholder needs into scalable, high-performance data solutions
Track record of mentoring engineers and driving innovation within high-performing data teams

The posted compensation range reflects the salary* for this position. Some roles may be eligible for a commission plan or a bonus incentive. All Bevi employees receive equity in the form of stock options. Pay Range
$140,250 - $173,250 USD
