The Senior Commercialization Architect leads the execution and performance improvement of the firm’s commercialization process focused on the pricing, positioning, packaging, monetization and profitability of new and reimagined products, services and solutions across our firm’s full breadth of business models including Audit, Advise, Transform, and Operate.

Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership, execution and accountability of the product and service commercialization factory, connecting product, monetization, pricing and commercial models across business lines.

Create clarity from ambiguity by working with minimal data to identify, position and monetize client value, supporting accelerated profitable growth.

Align value, usage and pricing metrics to meet criteria such as definability, measurability, high demand, strong willingness to pay and metric density.

Facilitate service decomposition, breaking complex services into modular components and mapping the solution value chain to enable monetization assessment and adoption.

Define, iterate and refine the price list for a set of products/services, including monetization model, metrics, pricing points, discounts, incentives, client value tables and terms, to increase price realization and win rate.

Build trust-based relationships and influence decision‑making across internal and client stakeholders to unlock client value, improve EY win rates and expand revenues and margins.

Skills & Attributes

Fluent in cost, competitor, willingness‑to‑pay and client‑value‑driven pricing strategies, and how they combine in EY’s market pricing models.

Proven track record designing, modelling and structuring services using innovative monetization and commercialization approaches aligned with the client’s value chain.

Robust knowledge of behavioral science such as prospect theory, loss aversion, framing and choice architecture.

Able to simplify complex information, establish credibility quickly and build influence with senior stakeholders despite limited data.

Effective collaboration across a matrix organization, showcasing pursuit and relationship‑management skills while navigating conflicting interests.

Qualifications

12+ years of experience in professional services pricing/commercials, strategy consulting, corporate development and/or SaaS/Product commercialization.

Expert proficiency in financial modelling, monetization, pricing, accounting, budgeting and associated metrics.

Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative price‑setting and optimization techniques such as A/B testing, conjoint analysis, Gabor‑Granger, price elasticity, Van Westendorp, and price laddering.

University/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification required.

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

MBA or master’s degree (or equivalent) in Business or related field preferred.

Flexible hours and moderate travel required to respond to clients’ needs and time zones.

What We Offer

A comprehensive compensation and benefits package with a base salary ranging from $181,800 to $350,000 in the U.S. (with higher ranges for specific metros). Total Rewards include medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans and generous paid time off.

A hybrid work model: most external, client‑serving roles work in person 40–60% of the time.
