Your Clinical Scope

Inpatient Pediatric Floor

Pediatric Intensive Care Unit

Pediatric Sedation Services

No ECMO or post‑op hearts

Procedures include

intubations, lumbar punctures, line placement, chest tubes, CPR

Documentation

H&Ps, progress notes, discharge summaries

Rapides 2024 Census Snapshot

Pediatric Admissions: ~550/year

PICU Admissions: 250–300/year

Pediatric ADC: 6 | PICU ADC: 3

Subspecialty Support: Cardiology, Pulmonology, GI

Monthly Subspecialty Clinics: 1–2x/month
