The Sanmina Fremont facility is a full-service enclosure systems solution manufacturing plant. Located in California’s Silicon Valley, this facility produces low-to-mid volume New Product Introduction (NPI) runs to full-scale volume. The Fremont facility offers everything from small piece parts to fully integrated and tested systems. In addition, this location offers in-house painting capabilities and flexible logistics solutions in distribution, inventory management and hubbing, as well as repair services.
NATURE OF WORK
Consolidating and analyzing financial data, taking into account company’s goals and financial standing
Assembling and summarizing data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status
Consolidate and analyze financial data (budgets, income statement forecasts etc) taking into account company’s goals and financial standing
Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance
Assemble and summarize data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risks
Develop financial models, conduct benchmarking and process analysis
Conduct business studies on past, future and comparative performance and develop forecast models
Gather meaningful information, identify trends and recommend actions to management based on sound analysis
Track and determine financial status by analyzing actual results in comparison with forecasts
Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data
Gain and update job knowledge to remain informed about novelty in the market place
Consult with management to guide and influence long term and strategic decision making within the broadest scope
Drive process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function
Actively assist the monthly financial close process in all respects
Lead and administrate Operations Finance projects
Assist in the monthly and quarterly financial close process
Other duties as assigned
CORE REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 5-7 years’ proven work experience as a Financial Analyst, specifically in a manufacturing environment; electronics manufacturing is a plus
Proficient with spreadsheets, databases, MS Office and financial software applications. Oracle knowledge/experience is highly desirable.
Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills, drawing conclusions and communicating results
Proven knowledge of financial forecasting and diagnosis, corporate finance and information analysis
Proven knowledge of financial accounting including the monthly financial close process
Sufficient knowledge and ability to interpret, organize and analyze financial data from multiple sources including engineering, shop floor, accounting and other areas
Sufficient skills to develop ad hoc reports and presentations
Ability to work well alone as well as in a team environment
Leadership skills to lead multi-departmental projects
Excellent time management and prioritization skills with regard to strict deadlines.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field

Salary Range(annual): $80,000 - $110,000 . Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
