Job Summary Our Individual Annuities team is hiring! This is your opportunity to accelerate your success as our
Sales Director, Financial Institutions . This position will have accountability for growth of the sales region via growth, development, and management of NMO distribution partners in order to achieve sales, persistency, profitability and market share goals. This position will advise on product development and service delivery improvements to achieve growth goals.
Responsibilities
Manage and grow the NMO distribution channel in coordination with other distribution partners and channels.
Develop and execute specific strategies to increase sales, retention and profitability. Negotiate Sub-GA arrangements.
Develop and execute NMO-specific marketing plans to capitalize on Standard’s value proposition. Train distribution partners on The Standard’s products, value propositions and key markets to target.
Act as a field advocate, work with the home office teams of Operations, Service, Actuarial, Marketing, Legal and Producer Services to negotiate quality customer support for specific accounts.
Experience with fixed annuities is a requirement of the role.
Ability to travel 50% nationwide is a requirement of the role.
Skills And Background You’ll Need
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or a related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 8 years of experience in fixed annuity brokerage or financial institutions.
Experience with financial institutions (banks and/or broker-dealers) preferred.
Direct sales, business development and distribution development experience desired.
Must be able to travel 50% throughout the United States.

Compensation Compensation is made up of a base salary, incentives, and/or other bonuses when applicable. This is a minimum range that can be increased based on performance and sales activity.
Salary Range: Total compensation range: $125k - $250k
