KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Principal Architect to join our Digital Nexus Technology organization.

This is a hybrid work opportunity.

Responsibilities

Lead the architectural efforts in the field of AI, including developing new platforms, algorithms, models, and techniques for analyzing business knowledge and data.

Unite with external partners and stakeholders to identify new opportunities for innovation and research in the field of AI.

Keep updated with the latest research and trends in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation in Gen AI.

Architect solutions and work with a team of engineers and developers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful realization of goals.

Develop proof of concept (POC) projects and prototypes that demonstrate the potential of emerging technologies.

Collaborate with other technology groups, including architects, engineering teams, and designers, to act as an emerging technology thought leader.

Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment.

Qualifications

Minimum ten years of recent architectural experience on SDLC projects; minimum five years of recent experience in artificial intelligence and enterprise‑grade platforms.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.

Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required.

Proven experience in bringing AI platforms/solutions to solve business problems and make a business impact, with practical experience in Python, Azure AI, Google AI services or similar capabilities on other cloud platforms.

Proven experience architecting solutions on cloud platforms like Azure and Google, using native cloud capabilities.

Strong leadership skills, experience managing and working with cross‑functional teams of developers and engineers; practical experience developing applications with AI technologies, preferably AI; strong digital skills, fast learner on emerging technology and new ways of working; ability to understand the long‑term (“big picture”) and short‑term perspectives of situations and apply multiple AI solutions to business problems.

Excellent verbal/written communication, collaboration, analytical and presentation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork; must be able to set goals and participate in strategic initiatives for a team.
