We’re seeking talented, motivated and experienced data scientists/analysts to join our simulation/evaluation org. In this role, you’ll contribute to the development of cutting‑edge quantitative evaluation methodologies/workflows that help validate and evolve our self‑driving car systems.

Responsibilities
Sample and process large datasets from self-driving car logs to evaluate new software in simulation environment
Define and develop metrics for target problem clusters of onboard systems, develop statistical analysis
Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and solutions of evaluating self-driving car behavior and reliability problems in simulation
Qualifications
Master or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related fields
2+ years of experience in data science/analyst or related role
1+ years of experiences of data sampling, quantitative evaluation and A/B testing
Proficiency in SQL and working with large database
Excellent communication, strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills
Preferences
Experience with autonomous vehicle technology or robotics
Experience with machine learning based data analysis
Experience leading cross-functional collaborations
