Overview Pilot has significant traction with startups and technology companies and we partner with law firms, banks, venture capital firms, and other service providers to bring new customers through referrals.
As the Alliances Manager, you build and nurture relationships with ecosystem partners and execute on this strategy.
Location San Francisco Bay Area
Key Responsibilities
Get service providers to refer more prospective customers to Pilot.
Sourcing & securing new partnership relationships for Pilot.
Nurturing relationships with various service providers.
Hosting & sponsoring events with key partners.
Lead follow‑up to convert these individuals into sales qualified leads.
Rigorously and quantitatively track metrics around partner relationships.
Measure inbound & outbound referrals and high‑value relationship activity.
Work with operations to surface referrals to partners when appropriate.
Collaborate with Marketing and GTM teams to execute initiatives in West Coast tech markets.
Develop customized partnership collateral and promote events/webinars across partner networks.
Qualifications
Business development professional with experience engaging partners in the startup/tech ecosystem.
A builder who is not afraid to roll up sleeves and make the referral motion work.
Existing, deep network of law firms, banks, VC funds, etc.
Results‑oriented with a passion for clear metric goals.
Deep experience finding partners and delivering real revenue results.
Community builder who can host events, network, moderate, and serve people non‑salesy.

Compensation The on‑target earnings (OTE) range for this role in San Francisco, CA is $127,000–$183,000. Base pay is 50% of OTE. Final offer depends on experience and market data. Full‑time positions receive equity, 401(k), health benefits, and other perks.
