Position Summary Defining Wellness Centers in Brandon, MS is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and dynamic Clinical Director to lead and support our clinical team in providing exceptional care to individuals struggling with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. The Clinical Director is a key member of the leadership team and plays a vital role in supervising therapists, developing programming, ensuring clinical compliance, and fostering a culture of growth and collaboration across departments.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct supervision, support, and oversight to all therapists across levels of care.

Conduct regular supervision meetings and performance evaluations.

Identify areas for clinical skill development and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.

Collaborate with the leadership team to design, enhance, and implement evidence-based clinical programming.

Ensure all therapeutic programming aligns with industry standards, licensing regulations, and the mission of Defining Wellness Centers.

Conduct regular audits of clinical documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory and insurance standards.

Provide feedback and corrective guidance to ensure therapist charts meet expectations.

Organize and deliver clinical training opportunities to enhance therapist skills, knowledge, and confidence.

Promote continuing education, licensure advancement, and evidence-based practices.

Serve as a clinical liaison and foster strong working relationships between the clinical team and other departments (UR, case management, nursing, admissions, etc.).

Promote integrated care through communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Participate in strategic planning and decision-making as part of the executive leadership team.

Contribute to the overall direction and growth of the organization through collaboration with the Executive Director and departmental leaders.

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field (required).

Licensed as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT (required).

Minimum of 5 years clinical experience in addiction and mental health treatment (preferred).

At least 2 years in a supervisory or clinical leadership role.

Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices and clinical documentation standards.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Passion for mentorship and professional development of clinicians.
