The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You will be a key player in driving customer success throughout the cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices across the project lifecycle.
As a Delivery Consultant you will have a deep understanding of AWS products and services, and be proficient in architecting complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to each customer. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to AWS. As trusted advisors, you will lead implementation, ensure adherence to best practices, optimize performance, and manage risks.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and build complex, scalable, and secure GenAI and ML applications and models on AWS tailored to customer needs.
Provide technical guidance and implementation support throughout project delivery, focusing on AWS AI/ML services.
Collaborate with customer stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective model training, building, and deployment strategies.
Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.
About the Team The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team of experts that help customers realize desired business outcomes with AWS Cloud. We work with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives and deliver focused guidance through global specialty practices covering a variety of solutions, technologies, and industries.
Basic Qualifications
Experience developing software code in one or more programming languages (Java, Python, etc.).
PhD or Masters of Science degree in Computer Science or related technical, math, or scientific field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of cloud-based solution, system, network, and operating system experience (AWS or equivalent).
5+ years of experience hosting and deploying GenAI/ML solutions (e.g., for data pre-processing, training, deep learning, fine‑tuning, and inference) and/or data science experience.
5+ years of coding, data querying languages (SQL), scripting languages (Python).
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of AWS platform and tools or equivalent cloud experience. Ideally, proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (SageMaker, Bedrock, EMR, S3, OpenSearch Service, Step Functions, Lambda, EC2).
AWS Professional-level certifications (Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional, Machine Learning Specialty) preferred.
Hands‑on experience with deep learning (CNN, RNN, LSTM, Transformer), machine learning, CV, GNN, or distributed training.
Experience with automation and scripting (Terraform, Python).
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences.
Salary and Benefits Base salary ranges: Colorado $131,300 – $177,600 annually National $118,200 – $204,300 annually
