Work Hours:
Full-time, 40 hrs/week
About the Role
We are seeking a
Senior Platform Engineer
to design, build, and operate the orchestration layer for
agentic AI
across a cutting‑edge security platform. This is a hands‑on engineering role with high technical impact, shaping platform architecture, engineering standards, and operational best practices while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
You will work on
agentic workflows
that process tens of thousands of SOC alerts per minute, enabling automation of triage, reducing mean time to response (MTTR), and delivering actionable risk insights at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Autonomous workflows:
Design and operate the control plane for planning, coordinating, and monitoring agents and tools.
Reliable services:
Develop production‑grade APIs with strong correctness guarantees and async/streaming patterns.
Agentic AI engineering:
Implement multi‑agent orchestration, retrieval‑augmented workflows, prompt orchestration, and memory persistence.
Safety & guardrails:
Implement runtime checks, evaluation, and auditability of agent decisions.
Observability & operations:
Define SLOs/SLIs, instrument tracing, metrics, and logs; conduct incident reviews and resilience strategies.
Performance optimization:
Optimize cost, latency, and throughput for large‑scale AI workloads.
Cross‑functional collaboration:
Work closely with Product, Data Science, and UX teams.
Required Qualifications
7+ years building production cloud services at scale.
Strong proficiency in Python and modern API design.
Hands‑on experience shipping
agentic AI
or tool‑using agent systems to production.
Proven track record of building reliable, observable systems with CI/CD.
Experience operating production services with a security‑first mindset.
Familiarity with distributed systems and real‑time processing at high scale.
Preferred Skills
Retrieval‑augmented workflows, prompt optimization, and evaluation frameworks.
Multi‑agent systems in production environments.
Background in security platforms (SIEM, XDR, SOAR).
Startup or high‑growth environment experience.
Ability to balance reliability, cost, and latency trade‑offs for AI services.
Familiarity with explainability, auditability, and compliance of autonomous AI workflows.
