About the Role Responsibilities

Employee Relations: Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, payroll, and other HR-related matters. Provide accurate and timely responses, escalating complex issues as needed.

Onboarding: Manage the onboarding process for new hires, including processing paperwork, conducting new hire orientations, and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.

Benefits Administration: Assist with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries. Communicate benefits information to employees and ensure compliance with regulations.

HRIS Management: Maintain employee data in the HR Information System (HRIS), ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Generate reports and analyze data as needed.

Compliance: Stay up-to-date on federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Assist in ensuring compliance with all applicable laws.

Performance Management: Support the performance management process by assisting with performance reviews, tracking performance data, and providing guidance to managers and employees.

Recruitment Support: Assist with recruitment activities, such as posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.

Special Projects: Participate in HR projects and initiatives, such as developing new HR programs, updating policies, or conducting research.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

2-4 years of experience as an HR Representative or in a related HR role.

Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, ADP).

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Experience in a hybrid/remote work environment is a plus.
