We own key services that keep people connected—enabling everything from personal scheduling and family sharing.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain distributed, scalable server powering iCloud Calendar.
Drive end-to-end development of new Calendar features, with a focus on performance, reliability, and security.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in engineering, product, design, and privacy to launch innovative features at scale.
Contribute to long-term technical strategy and influence roadmap for calendaring in Apple’s core cloud services.
Minimum Qualifications
3+ Years of Development experience in Java
Consistent track record of shipping high-quality, consumer-facing apps or backend services.
Experience with cloud infrastructure, privacy/security, and API design is a plus.
Experience with SQL and NoSQL database.
Preferred Qualifications
Excellent teamwork, communication, and a bias for collaborative problem-solving.
Familiarity with RAG system and Vector DBs.
Interest in AI/ML and agentic user experience is highly desirable.
Passion for user-centered product development and relentless attention to detail.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,500 and $258,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
