DSST curriculum* Facilitate Lesson Internalization Coaching Meetings - to develop teachers on their instructional practice within the context of their curriculum and the most essential daily learning.* Create, maintain, and update whole-school, grade-level, and teacher-level student academic and assessment records and reports.* Lead the execution of the school’s assessment program, including testing schedules, required staff training, and upholding district and state requirements.Additional Duties* Build relationships with teachers and other members of the administration team in order to positively impact school culture and results* Co-manage department chairs to ensure effective outcomes within departments* Recruit and hire school faculty* Serve as a recruiter for new students; actively engage prospective families in an effort to draw more students to choose your school; be willing to take on additional tasks to support recruitment, as needed* Work with DSST Home Office to create network-wide standards, curriculum, and assessment documents* Work with DSST Home Office to create network-wide new teacher professional development; create school-specific new and returning teacher professional development* Serve as a core member of the Instructional Leadership Team at your school* Participate in DSST’s Instructional Leadership Development program* If applicable, teach course(s) within the school* If applicable, act as a student advisor for a group of students* Bachelor’s Degree required* At least 3 years 6th-12th grade teaching experience required* Demonstrated ability to coach, manage and lead adults to successful outcomes* An unwavering belief that all students can succeed in high school, reach their most ambitious post-secondary goals, and lead exemplary lives* Desire to grow personally and professionally in their practice of becoming an anti-racist educator* Self-awareness, a regular practice of reflection, and a desire to continuously improve**Comprehensive Compensation & Benefits:** Competitive pay and a Total Rewards package that includes fertility and adoption support, educator-focused mental-health care, and everyday perks like Safeway grocery discounts. #J-18808-Ljbffr
