We have an immediate need for a detail-oriented, innovative marketer to oversee global product development and brand franchise development for key segments on our high-profile
Nerf & Super Soaker
brand team. You will play an active role in helping to craft insightful product and franchise strategies for one of the most recognizable and multi-generational toy brands in the world. A strong candidate possesses a strong work ethic and an appreciation for the joy that these toys bring to kids and fans around the world. In this critical role, you will partner with cross‑functional teams (design & development, packaging, engineering, demand planning, finance) on all phases of product development. You will also work with internal teams, including location‑based entertainment, promotions, digital gaming, and licensed consumer products to build the Nerf and Super Soaker brands and extend the reach into toy adjacencies and other categories. As such, the successful candidate will need to be a strategic, high‑energy, and collaborative thought leader with an ambitious spirit and curious mind. Creativity, ingenuity, and financial acuity will help you build foundational insights on how to grow the business. We are looking for someone to bring insights on what’s new and cool for our consumer with the ability to help translate those opportunities into new revenue streams for the business.
Effective from the date that Hasbro opens its new Boston location, this position will be onsite Tuesday – Thursday at Hasbro’s new HQ location in Boston, MA. In the interim, this position will be onsite Tuesday – Thursday at Hasbro’s HQ in Pawtucket, RI.
A Day In The Life as an Associate Brand Manager
Develop overall go-to-market product strategy
Partner with cross‑functional teams to execute key brand initiatives, including finding innovative ways to create incremental growth opportunities and develop higher‑margin businesses
Demonstrate strategic and creative thought leadership and apply consumer and social insights to drive product innovations that better meet and exceed demand. You are an internal influencer who can put thoughts into action
Partner with the global supply chain to identify programs to decrease development costs and gain efficiencies where applicable
Provide timely and consistent communication of brand activity and key information to internal business partners
Partner with regional marketing teams to understand business needs, retailer trends & challenges, identify growth opportunities, and deliver best‑in‑class brand plans
Develop franchise growth plans in partnership with internal teams and execute these plans to build the Nerf and Super Soaker brand equities
Adopt, embrace and embody the Nerf and Super Soaker consumer mindset in all facets of strategic thinking and product development
Take ownership of the P2M, HDM, & Jetpack systems for specific segments, driving strong organization of brand line plans with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
What You’ll Bring
Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in marketing, advertising, or related field
Bachelor’s Degree (Marketing, Advertising, or related field preferred)
MBA preferred (additional work experience in lieu of MBA considered)
Understanding of the steps necessary to bring products to market
Previous experience in franchise development preferred, but not required
Creative and strategic thinking. Ability to be agile and flexible in thinking
Motivated self‑starter who is able to creatively tackle problems and maximize available resources
Ability to make informed decisions quickly to keep performance on track
Collaborative; able to work with, get information/help from and influence internal groups
Business and financial acumen including analytical skills. Can make sense of quantitative and qualitative information affecting the brand
Strong project management abilities; capable of prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously under tight time constraints
Digital‑first mindset
Well developed, verbal, written and dynamic presentation skills
Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Compensation The hourly rate for this position is $74,100.00 to $111,200.00. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, location and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long‑term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
