Key Duties and Responsibilities
Manage current and upcoming Medical Aesthetics portfolios and their associate indications.
Own and drive Key Opinion Leader (KOL) engagement and lead scientific exchange with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs).
Advise cross‑functional teams on future medical activities, brand strategy and development of tactical planning.
Contribute to medical‑marketing messaging, approval procedures and overall competency of Medical Affairs.
Execute the Medical Affairs plan for Thailand, providing comprehensive medical and scientific support to Allergan initiatives.
Provide scientific education and training initiatives across the Allergan Aesthetics portfolio; perform field visits, organize advisory board meetings, facilitate clinical trials, and serve as the medical resource for both external and internal stakeholders.
Ensure non‑promotional, balanced scientific information to HCPs and ancillary healthcare professionals.
Facilitate information, education and research activities for physicians and other stakeholders; work closely with commercial teams to meet scientific and technical training needs.
Plan and execute business strategies, develop tactics for the Medical Aesthetics portfolio, and maintain competitiveness and growth within the market.
Assist in internal training of field sales teams, including the development of training materials, exams and evaluative processes.
Conduct external training and education to enhance physicians’ awareness of Allergan’s Aesthetic products, including sharing scientific data and fostering professional relationships.
Lead thought leadership activities: identify key researchers and physicians, facilitate scientific communication, present at customer meetings and maintain key relationships with specialty societies.
Identify and prioritize Phase IV and investigator‑initiated studies, ensuring compliance with Allergan guidelines and policies.
Support Local Safety Officers on PV issues, liaise with Regional PV Lead, and provide necessary training activities.
Maintain up‑to‑date scientific knowledge, attend key medical congresses locally and internationally, and provide medical expertise to commercial teams.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications:
Medical degree (MD), advanced degree in science (PhD), or other healthcare‑related credentials (PharmD, RN, DNP, etc.). Master’s or Bachelor’s in a scientific or healthcare discipline may be considered in special cases.
Relevant Experience:
2–5 years in the pharmaceutical industry with specialized therapeutic area expertise, preferably in medical aesthetics or related specialty. Experience in advisory board management, publication and other scientific exchange activities. Good understanding of the domestic market and experience establishing strong relationships with KOLs.
Essential Skills, Experience and Competencies:
Strong leadership and persuasion skills across all levels; excellent presentation, interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated agility, resilience and innovative mindset. Self‑driven with a record of acquiring new skills in fast‑paced environments. Ability to understand and apply clinical aspects of medical aesthetics. Compliance with all business ethics and regulations to secure personal credibility and integrity.
