Position Overview Tarkett Sports is seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Vice President to lead our Texas Region operations. As the Vice President of Design & Construction, you will oversee the region’s full profit and loss (P&L) performance, act as the primary catalyst for growth and strategic development initiatives, and collaborate with sales and lead the operations teams. Your leadership will drive performance, optimize processes, and foster a culture of excellence.

The role will shape the strategic direction of the Texas Region, working closely with senior leadership to align regional objectives with broader company goals. You will spearhead initiatives to expand market presence, diversify revenue streams, and capitalize on emerging opportunities within the sports surfacing industry. With a keen focus on customer satisfaction and market responsiveness, you will champion innovation and continuous improvement across all aspects of operations, ensuring Tarkett Sports remains at the forefront of industry trends and technological advancements.

As an influential leader, you will represent Tarkett Sports in key industry forums, trade shows, and networking events, cultivating relationships with industry stakeholders and reinforcing our position as a trusted leader in sports construction solutions.

Key Responsibilities

P&L Management: Take ownership of the region’s financial performance, including supporting revenue generation, cost control, and profitability. Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize operational efficiency.

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive sustainable growth and expansion within the Texas Region. Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and customer needs to enhance market penetration and competitive advantage.

Team Leadership and Development: Lead, inspire, and mentor a diverse team of professionals across sales and operations functions. Foster a collaborative and high‑performance culture, empowering team members to achieve individual and collective goals.

Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders in the region. Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction through proactive communication, problem‑solving, and service excellence.

Operational Excellence: Oversee operational processes and workflows to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with company standards and industry regulations. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity and resource utilization.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other regional and corporate teams, including marketing, finance, and HR, to align strategies, share best practices, and drive organizational success.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.

5+ years of senior leadership experience with full P&L responsibility, preferably in the construction or related industry.
