Electrical Construction- Project Manager
Salary Range:
$97,600.00 - $146,400.00 Annual
Rosendin Electric, an employee‑owned leader in electrical contracting, is seeking a Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of large‑scale electrical construction projects.
Candidates will manage projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
Plan and organize project activities under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager or Division Manager.
Supervise and direct project activities, assigning tasks to Assistant Project Managers and ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
Establish initial client contact, assess scope of work, schedule, and resources needed for project success.
Prepare a complete estimate, reviewing plans, specifications, and bid form.
Develop project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within corporate guidelines.
Supervise preparation and negotiation of all change orders.
Monitor construction activities with the onsite Foreman and Area Superintendent to keep schedule and budget on track.
Investigate serious situations and implement corrective measures under supervision.
Prepare monthly costing reports under the supervision of a Senior PM or Division Manager.
Manage financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect company interest while maintaining client relationships.
Review documentation prepared by Assistant Project Managers before submission.
Represent the company in project meetings under guidance of PM II or Senior Project Manager.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience in the construction industry in a Project Management role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and optionally Accubid and Oracle.
Strong leadership, financial acumen, and deep understanding of complex electrical systems.
Effective performance management skills and ability to work under pressure with a positive attitude.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and self‑motivated, proactive team player.
Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing requirements.
Travel Up to 25%
Working Conditions
Primarily on active construction sites with sitting, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, and bending.
Noise level typically low to medium.
Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.
