What You’ll Get To Do

Developing and evaluating models: create and refine mathematical and computer-based models to simulate complex system behavior.

Data analysis and interpretation: analyze simulation results to assess performance, identify improvement areas, and optimize designs.

Simulation execution and management: run simulations, manage data, ensure accuracy, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions.

System design and optimization: use simulation results to inform design decisions and optimize performance parameters; provide system test and integration support.

Collaboration and communication: work with engineers, scientists, stakeholders; support system technical performance measurement; cross‑functional collaboration to align designs.

Technical documentation: create and maintain documentation, reports, and presentations; develop test plans; capture customer needs into requirements; assist in generating system, subsystem, and software requirement documents.

System design and architecture: experience with software design patterns, requirements gathering, version control; define and drive development, integration, and demonstration plans; develop roadmaps; work with customer, partner, supplier communities; analyze system requirements and develop implementation plans.

Location This position will serve on‑site in Linthicum / Annapolis Junction, MD.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or other STEM discipline with 5 years of digital engineering; 3 years with an MS; 1 year with a PhD.

Team planning, execution, and management of technical scope.

Object‑oriented analysis and design principles.

Proactive, independent, driven initiative.

Experience with Python, C/C++, etc.

Experience in Model‑Based Systems Engineering languages (SysML/UML) and concepts.

Experience interpreting complex algorithms and requirements for implementation.

US Citizen.

Ability to obtain and maintain required US Government security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Current active TS/SCI clearance with Poly.

Proficient with DOORS, Cameo; write and decompose system requirements.

Evaluate risks and tradeoffs; present solution options.

Experience using Atlassian agile tools.

Deliver documents (CDRLs) for government use.

Design software using UML in Cameo or similar MBSE tools.

Perform trade studies of COTS products.

#MDASEIT #NGMCENG #NGMDAOXSEIT Salary Range Primary Level: $108,800 – $171,000. Secondary Level: $135,800 – $213,400.
