Join Stanford University’s Department of Pediatrics as Division Chief of Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics (DBP). The successful candidate will be a recognized national or international leader in Developmental Behavioral Pediatrics and will oversee the supervision and development of clinical services, education, research, and community engagement activities for DBP members, other relevant areas of the Stanford School of Medicine, the Stanford Health Care system (including Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford and its partner sites), and the entire university.

Academic rank and line will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. Appointment may occur at the level of Associate or Full Professor and may fall within the University Tenure Line, University Medical Line, Non-tenure Line (Research), or Clinician Educator Line.
The predominant criterion for appointment in the University Tenure Line is a major commitment to research and teaching.
For the University Medical Line, excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, clinical teaching, scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, and institutional service is required.
The Non-tenure Line (Research) requires evidence of high-level research performance for which a programmatic need exists.
Clinician Educators must excel in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administration, and scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need.
Required qualifications:
Board certification in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) or equivalent.
Board certification in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN), or a doctoral degree in psychology, or comparable experience and training outside the US.
MD, MD/PhD, PsyD, or PhD.
