Job Summary We are currently seeking a Bank Reconciliation Specialist to join our Finance/Accounting Department. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company that offers competitive pay, a team‑oriented atmosphere, and excellent benefits.
Responsibilities
Daily analyze and match banking transactions using Cadency Software (for deposit transactions) for 400‑500 stores
Monthly reconciliation of various bank accounts using Cadency Software
Preparation of general ledger entries related to bank reconciliations
New store sales reports
Reconciliation of ACH/Wire Payments in Chase banking system
Analysis of various GL accounts
Reconciliation of credit card accounts
Handling any issues related to bank accounts
Perform other related duties as assigned
Opening & closing of individual bank accounts
Required Skills & Abilities
Good verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office or related software as well as accounting software (T‑Recs/IDM)
Understanding of accounting procedures
Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with close attention to detail
Ability to manage confidential information
Experience with Trintech, T‑Recs, Chesapeake or other bank reconciliation software
Education & Experience
Degree in Accounting or Business‑related area required
At least two years of experience in finance/accounting role required
Knowledge of bank reconciliations
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
