During the 2020 pandemic, UH has been recognized as a regional leader in COVID care and testing.# **Job Description****University Health Physicians** are currently seeking a full-time psychiatrist to join our medical staff in providing psychiatric services in an outpatient setting at our Lakewood Counseling Services location in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.This position will work with a multi-disciplinary team that includes psychologists, social workers and therapists.

Other duties will include: paid call on the consult liaison service or inpatient mental health unit and teaching of psychiatry residents and students. Participation in hospital-based committees and providing lectures to other medical specialties is encouraged.The qualified candidate will have graduated from an accredited medical school, and completed a residency in Psychiatry.UHP provides a comprehensive benefits package and competitive compensation including educational leave with annual stipend.
