Job Title: Senior Azure Full-Stack Developer
Location: Plano, TX
Salary: $120k-140k
Position Overview: We are looking for a Senior Azure Full-Stack Developer with a strong background in energy or utilities industries to play a pivotal role in our technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience and expertise in Azure Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offerings. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure full-stack applications on the Azure platform, utilizing Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offerings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, architect solutions, and deliver high-quality software products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Lead the implementation of best practices for software development, including coding standards, testing, documentation, and version control.
- Utilize modern front-end frameworks and libraries (e.g., Angular, React, Vue.js) to create intuitive and responsive user interfaces.
- Develop and maintain back-end services and APIs using .NET Core, Node.js, or other relevant technologies.
- Leverage Azure PaaS services such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, and Azure DevOps for application development and deployment.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability through continuous monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the energy and utilities industry, and proactively identify opportunities to leverage technology for business innovation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in full-stack software development, with a focus on Microsoft Azure technologies.
- Proven experience working with Azure Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offerings and a deep understanding of Azure architecture and services.
- Strong proficiency in front-end development using modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries (e.g., Angular, React, Vue.js) and proficiency in HTML/CSS.
- Extensive experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices using .NET Core, Node.js, or similar technologies.
- Solid understanding of software development best practices, including Agile methodologies, test-driven development (TDD), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Experience working in the energy or utilities industry, with knowledge of industry-specific challenges and regulations.
- Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Developer, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.
