Our Training & Certification (T&C) Products and Services team is looking for an enthusiastic and creative thought leader with a strong background in product innovation to lead our efforts to scale training content creation for technical learning solutions to help customers develop practical skills using AWS services. You will own the definition and governance of the T&C learning content model and taxonomy. You will help the team build mechanisms, tools, and automation to dramatically increase (5X) the amount of content we can create and get this content to customers faster.

The successful candidate must have problem‑solving skills, business judgment, and experience working with cross‑functional teams. We are looking for the ability to execute both strategically and tactically, and someone who is excited to take on new, ambiguous projects that will define new learning opportunities. This position requires a technical background to produce concrete specifications, develop prototypes, and drive implementation. In this position, you will define product requirements, product delivery, and go‑to‑market strategy while increasing product adoption and revenue for a portfolio of innovative products. This role requires thinking big and the ability to thrive in an ambiguous, collaborative, and startup‑like environment.

Key Responsibilities

Supports business strategy and objectives in order to identify requirements and resources for complex initiatives for AWS training

Be the single‑threaded owner for the T&C learning content model and taxonomy standards. Innovate on tools and mechanisms (including governance) for the definition, organization, adoption and use of the taxonomy across curriculum development and publishing workflows.

Innovate on scaling mechanisms including processes, tools, and automation for creating learning content through crowdsourcing and AI content generation.

Identify sources of existing content in AWS and define learning products that can be curated at scale by reusing that content.

Innovate on new self‑paced digital learning offerings based on learner needs.

Manages a product roadmap and lifecycle of initiatives that enhance the T&C learning experience.

Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand use cases and learning challenges.

Perform market analyses, usability studies, and research to identify new opportunities for innovation to solve customer learning challenges.

Establish goals and reviewing metrics to identify opportunities and deliver success.

Work with development teams to deliver customer experiences.

Basic Qualifications

5+ years of customer‑facing product development and product management, including defining, launching, and optimizing product and services experience

5+ years of experience in building learning products, software, or services

Bachelor’s Degree – business or technical degree in information science or related technical discipline (management information systems, computer science, engineering) or 5 years of experience working with engineering teams to develop products or associated data models

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of UX and/or CX design and usability

Experience with problem solving and disruptive innovation, developing technology programs and working across customer organizations

Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Experience with Learning & Development and course facilitation or an equivalent professional qualification, or experience in a training role, including technical training, or a mix of training, performance management and coaching/mentoring

Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, evaluate alternatives and develop processes and tools as needed to support the organization

Location & Salary Seattle, WA $92,400.00 – $206,700.00
