Reliability Engineer II – Software (Hybrid Onsite)
A major medical device organization is seeking a
Reliability Engineer II
to support
software reliability testing ,
risk management documentation , and
GSPR
development for cloud-based and CRM-related products. This role is
hybrid onsite (4 days/week)
in Mounds View, MN.

Key Responsibilities:
Execute software reliability testing and reliability studies
Develop and maintain
software reliability DFMEAs
Prepare
GSPR
and traceability documentation
Conduct DOE, risk analysis, and failure investigation
Analyze data, identify reliability risks, and recommend improvements
Support corrective measures and ensure compliance with reliability standards
Requirements:
0–5 years of experience in
software reliability
or related engineering fields
Strong critical thinking and structured problem‑solving ability
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with design assurance, risk documentation, and reliability testing
Nice to Have:
Experience with ISO 14971, IEC 62304, Agile, or software testing
CRE or CSQE certification
Knowledge of reliability growth models, FTA, PHA, hazard analysis
Familiarity with 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, or regulated industry standards
Advanced degree or statistics/Minitab experience
