The CAE Engineer – MBD is responsible for executing Multi-Body Dynamics (MBD) loadcases through CAE simulations. This role demands innovation in execution processes to enhance productivity, reduce errors, and leverage automation tools. The engineer will collaborate closely with team leaders, mentor new members, and provide technical guidance to CAD modellers.
Key Responsibilities
Build mesh models as per MBD analysis requirements.
Perform MBD analysis and interpret results within defined schedules and quality standards.
Communicate project progress and milestone completion to the CAE Team Leader.
Mentor new team members on MBD technical skills and project execution.
Guide CAD modellers on modeling projects that serve as inputs to CAE tasks.
Understand project scope, timelines, and quality expectations; clarify ambiguities with the team leader.
Conduct self-reviews and participate in team leader reviews of deliverables.
Ensure regular updates and milestone tracking throughout project execution.
Execute assigned tasks within agreed timelines and quality norms.
Required Skills & Experience
Proficiency in CAE pre- and post-processing tools.
Strong experience in meshing for MBD models.
Hands‑on experience in model building and assembly for commercial vehicle components.
Solid theoretical understanding of Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
Excellent communication, report writing, documentation, and presentation skills.
