Part Time Master Electrician (DOE-F) Schedule: 11pm - 7am Saturday and Sunday
EMCOR Government Services, Inc. is seeking a licensed Part‑time Master Electrician for the DOE facility in Washington, DC. A Level L security clearance is required. The position is covered by the CBA for Local 99.
Job Summary This role requires performing all electrical trade functions necessary for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment, including motors, switchgear, circuit breakers, lighting circuits, switches, master clocks, and distribution panels.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical equipment.
Inspect, maintain, clean, repair, test, and adjust motors, switchgear, circuit breakers, lighting circuits, switches, master clocks, and distribution panels.
Perform preventative maintenance and service calls.
Conduct inspections.
Supervise subcontractors.
Qualifications
Current Master Electrician license (DC or MD).
Current or ability to obtain L Level Security Clearance.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrician.
General knowledge of motors, switchgear, emergency generation, UPS, fire, HVAC, and related electrical building systems.
Ability to read and understand blueprints.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Availability to work Saturday and Sunday nights 11 pm – 7 am.
Compensation Compensation Range: $48.81 per hour
