An operationally focused private equity firm headquartered in Los Angeles is seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join as Private Equity Vice President. The firm invests across traditional buyouts, restructurings, and special situations, with a diverse portfolio spanning Consumer, Healthcare, Industrials, and Business Services.

With over $2 billion in AUM, the firm has a proven track record of success and is backed by a leadership team with decades of experience from some of the most reputable private equity shops in the country. Role Overview As Vice President, you will be a key member of the deal team, responsible for leading transaction execution, managing junior team members, and working closely with portfolio company management to implement operational and strategic initiatives. This role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility in a lean, collaborative team setting.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all aspects of deal execution, including due diligence, financial modeling, valuation, and preparation of investment committee materials.

Oversee junior team members and ensure high-quality work across analyses and deliverables.

Partner with portfolio company management teams to drive operational improvements and strategic growth initiatives.

Monitor portfolio performance and assist in value creation planning.

Build and maintain strong relationships with intermediaries, advisors, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

3+ years private equity experience required; additional experience in investment banking or management consulting is a plus.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills with proven ability to lead complex transactions.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to senior stakeholders.

Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Strong leadership skills and experience managing junior team members.

High level of integrity, work ethic, and attention to detail.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
