Elementary School: Special Education ABA Aide – Boston, MA (2026-2027) We are seeking an ABA Certified Aide to work with students requiring extra support across our Boston charter schools. This role will collaborate with teachers, leaders, and families to implement behavior interventions and promote academic and social growth.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct student care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training.

Follow prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols.

Follow and record data for prescribed toilet training protocols as necessary.

Collect, record, and summarize data on observable student behavior and maintain student confidentiality.

Attend staff professional development, special education team meetings, IEP meetings, and grade-level team meetings.

Assist with parent and caregiver training in line with each student’s individualized treatment plans.

Effectively communicate student progress under the guidance of the BCBA.

Collaborate with the treatment team, including clients, parents, outside professionals, ABA interns, and co-workers.

Utilize safe handling procedures and crisis prevention/nonviolent intervention techniques.

Maintain technical knowledge by attending required trainings.

Demonstrate integrity, human-centered leadership, and critical consciousness in all interactions.

Engage in regional professional development and community events as required.

Apply data‑driven decision making to support student needs.

Employ interpersonal skills to support behavioral and emotional needs, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment.

Communicate effectively in person, written, group, and virtual settings.

Maintain physical mobility and strength to perform duties (walking, kneeling, lifting up to 20 lbs, etc.).

Qualifications

Associate’s Degree or equivalent.

Minimum of 2 years of ABA experience (preferred 2+ years).

Computer literacy and familiarity with Google Suite.

Pass Criminal Background Check.

What We Offer Base salary $42,000 to $55,000 (1.0 FTE/45 hrs/week). Includes $1,000 signing bonus and $2,000 annual retention bonus in subsequent years. Flexible benefits and growth opportunities available.
