About Our Production Team Become part of the dedicated Production Team at the Long Beach Distribution Center, supporting the Adult Rehabilitation Program. This is an opportunity to promote teamwork skills while contributing to the success of our program and its participants.

Responsibilities
Supervise, coach, and train all warehouse associates and beneficiaries to reach operational efficiency and achieve production goals.
Evaluate employee performances and give accurate reviews and clear attainable goals.
Overall responsibility for production department performance and lead by example.
Ensure that all merchandise is priced according to pricing policy.
Ensure quality control for all materials going to the stores.
Responsible for the collection and security of all jewelry and other high‑ticket items.
Ensure safe, proper use, and maintenance of warehouse supplies and production equipment.
Keep immediate working area clean, neat, and organized.
Follow safety measures established and maintained by ARC policy and government regulations.
Perform other written or verbal duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent.
Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor teams of warehouse associates and beneficiaries.
Strong communication, leadership, accountability, and follow-through skills.
Ability to differentiate quality of donated items.
Adaptability to supervising and working in various production units.
Proven track record hitting production goals.
Previous experience working with diverse and vulnerable populations.
Physical Demands
Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, clothing carts, merchandise carts, rolling clothing racks, fixtures, furniture dollies, platform trucks, hand trucks, and miscellaneous carts.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks.
Schedule Our Distribution Center operates five days per week. Work schedules are determined by management and employees must be flexible to ensure adequate coverage. Full‑time warehouse associates may be scheduled to work any full‑time shift, including some weekends and holidays. The Salvation Army will comply with all governmental orders and contractual obligations related to COVID‑19 safety measures, including mandatory vaccination of staff if required. Exemptions for religious or medical grounds may be considered when available.
