Real Estate & Finance Talent Partner | Acquisitions, Development, Asset Management, Capital Markets & Accounting Macdonald & Company has been retained by an established industrial real estate owner-developer to appoint an Industrial Property Manager to oversee a growing portfolio across the Atlanta metro. This group has a long track record developing and managing industrial assets and is now expanding its management team to support continued growth. The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced senior property manager and integrate into a small, high-performing platform with strong processes already in place.
Role Summary The Property Manager will take ownership of day-to-day management across a portfolio of industrial assets throughout the Atlanta metro area, ensuring high operational standards, strong tenant relationships, and consistent execution of company procedures. The position requires someone who can step in with minimal handholding and contribute immediately.
Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of industrial properties across the Atlanta region.
Conduct regular property inspections, assess conditions, and coordinate repairs and maintenance.
Oversee tenant communication, lease administration, CAM reconciliations, CapEx coordination, and insurance matters.
Maintain company property management standards and ensure consistent execution across the portfolio.
Collaborate closely with the senior property manager and wider management team.
Oversee vendor relationships, budgeting, reporting, and documentation.
Support Georgia-based assets, with occasional travel to nearby states as needed.
Requirements
Industrial property management experience is required.
Preference for candidates currently overseeing industrial assets.
Ability to operate with limited training and integrate into an existing process-driven team.
Strong organizational, communication, and tenant-facing skills.
Comfortable managing a geographically dispersed portfolio.
Based in Georgia with flexibility for occasional travel.
Hybrid structure with the ability to work from home and from the firm’s Atlanta office.
Expected to be in the office roughly two days per week for team collaboration.
Tight-knit, long-established team with high autonomy and accountability.
