Position Overview: An Electrical Warranty Specialist is responsible for handling warranty claims related to electrical components and systems. This role involves troubleshooting, diagnosing issues, and coordinating repairs or replacements to ensure customer satisfaction. A strong understanding of electrical systems, problem-solving skills, and excellent customer service are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities
Process warranty claims for electrical and systems.
Conduct thorough investigations of warranty claims, including gathering necessary documentation and information.
Diagnose electrical issues based on customer descriptions and available data.
Determine warranty eligibility and authorize repairs or replacements.
Coordinate with customers, technicians, and suppliers to resolve warranty claims efficiently.
Maintain accurate records of warranty claims and related documentation.
Identify trends in warranty claims and provide feedback to product development or quality control teams.
Provide technical support to customers regarding electrical product performance and troubleshooting.
Stay updated on product specifications, warranty policies, and industry standards.
Requirements
Associate degree or technical certificate in electrical engineering or a related field preferred.
Strong understanding of electrical systems and components.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong customer service orientation and ability to communicate effectively.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in computer systems and software applications.
Experience with warranty management systems preferred.
Must complete a background/drug test
