Position: Audiologist (Part-Time) Location: Folsom, CA About Us
Comprehensive Mobile Care (CMC) is a family-owned healthcare organization with over 25 years of experience and a flawless ethical and legal track record, which displays our compassionate and thoughtful approach to healthcare. It is our mission to work hand in hand with facilities to increase the accessibility of healthcare services to the geriatric population by bringing care directly to them. We provide on-site portable dentistry, podiatry, audiology & optometry at Senior Centers, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living Facilities & Veteran Homes across 20+ states and are looking to expand that footprint. We pride ourselves on giving each participant exceptional and empathetic healthcare services. Comprehensive Mobile Care accomplishes that by providing state-of-art equipment, an onsite assistant, we handle all scheduling, billing, and administrative work which allows your sole focus to be the patient. Position Summary
A compassionate and experienced Audiologist (Part-Time) is needed to provide care to the elderly. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care to seniors, with an emphasis on comfort, respect, and proper hearing health. Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, and tympanometry. Diagnose and manage hearing disorders, including age-related hearing loss. Provide hearing aid consultations, fittings, programming, and follow-up care. Educate patients and caregivers about hearing health, communication strategies, and device maintenance. Work collaboratively with facility staff to ensure coordinated patient care. Ensure a comfortable and respectful environment tailored to geriatric needs. Qualifications
Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from an accredited program. Active state audiology license. Experience in geriatric or mobile audiology care preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and adapt to facility-based care settings. Schedule
6-8 days per month Weekday availability 8 hour day, 8:30AM-4:30PM Compensation
