Job Summary The Senior Salesforce Consultant/BSA will lead and support Salesforce solution design across multiple clouds, working closely with Senior Salesforce Architects, business stakeholders, and client SMEs. This client-facing role requires strong consulting skills, expertise in Salesforce configuration and administration, and the ability to gather requirements, create solution designs, coordinate with offshore teams, and support large-scale enterprise CRM programs. Key Responsibilities Lead Salesforce solution design across Sales, Service, Experience, Health, and Data Clouds. Collaborate with business and IT teams to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into functional and technical solutions. Partner with Senior Salesforce Architects, Enterprise Architecture teams, and executive sponsors to align CRM solutions with business goals. Conduct end-to-end requirements gathering, including EPICs, features, and user stories using tools such as JIRA and Confluence. Prepare detailed requirement documentation, solution designs, gap analysis, use cases, and scope documents. Coordinate development, configuration, and testing activities with offshore teams throughout build and deployment phases. Facilitate design and requirement clarification sessions across multiple geographies. Participate in Scrum of Scrums for large, multi-team Salesforce programs. Develop prototype configurations within Salesforce (Sales/Service/Experience Cloud, AgentForce, Force.com). Provide architectural oversight and ensure adherence to CRM roadmaps and Salesforce best practices. Develop technical documents such as Functional Design Specifications and deployment documentation. Perform design document reviews, peer code reviews, and suggest code improvements. Act as a single point of contact for build and deployment issues, ensuring timely resolution. Learn and implement new features released in relevant technologies as applicable. Optimize efficiency, cost, and quality by selecting appropriate technical options. Interpret application or feature designs and develop components accordingly. Code, debug, test, and document product/component development stages. Validate results with user representatives and integrate overall solutions. Enhance customer satisfaction through proactive recommendations, improvements, and elegant solutioning. Support employee engagement and team motivation on project initiatives. Create estimates, participate in Scrum ceremonies, and plan resources for projects. Contribute to the creation of high-level and low-level design documentation. Define coding standards, templates, and checklists; review code from team members. Create and review unit test cases and support testing teams with clarifications. Perform root cause analysis for defects and identify improvement opportunities. Manage delivery of modules and user stories. Prepare, review, and maintain design documentation, test plans, and results. Provide status reporting in compliance with project standards. Contribute to project knowledge base, reusable components, internal seminars, and practice-building activities. Execute and monitor release processes. Work closely with customer architects to finalize designs and validate implementations. Advise developers with deeper business context and domain understanding. Identify opportunities for value-added contributions in the customer domain. Set goals for team members, provide mentoring, and ensure upskilling and engagement. Proactively identify and mitigate risks. Required Qualifications
8+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in Salesforce. Hands-on experience in 4–5 Salesforce implementations across Sales, Service, Experience, Health, or Data Clouds, each with a duration of at least 6 months. Strong domain experience in healthcare payer business, especially Sales processes. Experience in requirements analysis, EPICs, user stories, and documentation. Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and similar tools. Strong knowledge of Salesforce objects, configuration, and administration. Experience in CRM roadmap planning, architectural design, and Force.com implementations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. Experience working in large enterprise programs with onsite-offshore coordination. Flexibility for early morning or late evening calls. Knowledge of Apex/Visualforce and code optimization (good to have but not mandatory). Understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban. Experience with integrations using REST/SOAP APIs. Experience with production deployments and resolving deployment errors. Ability to break down complex problems, estimate effort, evaluate test results, and manage project delivery. Strong presentation, customer interaction, and business communication skills. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in code-level re-engineering or optimization in Salesforce. Exposure to custom application development on the Force.com platform. Experience using data-loading tools and best practices. Experience supporting hackathons, internal knowledge sessions, or practice-building initiatives. Prior mentorship or leadership experience guiding junior technical team members. Experience interpreting and implementing complex Salesforce features and automations across ERP/CRM cloud platforms. Certifications (if any)
