Duties and Responsibilities
40%:
Provides strategic, collaborative, and innovative leadership in developing and overseeing divisional plans related to academic programs, curriculum, scheduling, and learning environments to ensure institutional effectiveness, address student needs, and meet accreditation and regulatory standards.
Ensures that division plans align with and support the college's mission, vision, strategic initiatives, and goals.
Provides leadership, supervision, and guidance to faculty and staff within the division.
Provides leadership and oversight of programs and curriculum, instructional delivery across all modalities, and academic assessment activities.
Establishes and maintains collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Develops, manages, and plans the division’s operating budget.
Establishes and maintains collaborative working relationships with business and industry partners, agencies, community organizations and, education institutions.
30%:
Supports full-time faculty through the onboarding and promotion processes; provides ongoing support for all faculty throughout their careers.
Fosters the development of programs within the division to support student success.
Enhances non-credit to credit educational pathways for students.
Supports enrollment management and marketing strategies to enhance program health, recognition, and growth.
Models and maintains high performance, professional standards, and expectations.
Ensures a division environment in which all individuals are treated equitably and with respect.
25%:
Actively participates on and/or leads various college committees, meetings, and workgroups.
Responds to faculty, staff, and student concerns in a timely manner, maintaining integrity and appropriate confidentiality throughout the process.
Actively participates in professional development relevant to higher education and their disciplinary field.
5%:

Required Education Master's degree in Humanities or Fine Arts related field
Preferred Education PhD in Humanities or Fine Arts related field
Required Experience 3 years of progressive administrative experience at the collegiate level in a leadership role.
Preferred Experience 5 years of progressive administrative experience at the collegiate level in a leadership role.
