Associate SAP Package Specialist - Entry Level (Baton Rouge, LA)
You will join IBM Consulting via our world class Associate Program for university hires. In this role, you will work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.
Your role and responsibilities
Perform the full life cycle of application implementation, including requirement definition, design, development, testing, and data migration.
Migrate between products or integration with other products, configuration of packages and recovery and backup.
Use your consulting skills, business knowledge, and packaged solution expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into the client's business environment.
Assist in selection, implementation, and support of application.
Qualifications
Ability to thrive in an ever changing, technology based consulting environment.
Experience in analytical data and system work with a logical sequence to complex tasks.
Drive to overcome challenging obstacles and look for ways to improve results.
Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and at least one cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, IBM, or Google Cloud.
Exposure to basic AI concepts, ethics, and methodologies.
Exposure to basic data science concepts.
Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines, while maintaining focus in an environment with conflicting demands.
Strong communication skills, able to convey complex situations clearly and simply.
Passion for innovative ideas and ability to understand and assimilate different points of view.
Must be local to your assigned Client Innovation Center location or willing to relocate prior to your start date at your own expense.
Average onsite work requirement of 3 days per week.
Willingness to travel up to 60% as needed.
