DevOps and Infrastructure Engineer

on the

Infrastructure Cognizance

team, you’ll help design and sustain a platform that unifies infrastructure visibility across the enterprise. This brand‑new, high‑priority effort aggregates data from multiple systems to reveal what’s been requested, what’s deployed, and when standards are being broken. You’ll architect and maintain the CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes clusters, and AWS environments that ensure the system runs securely, reliably, and at scale. Your work will directly empower experts across the organization to identify risks faster and enforce infrastructure best practices more effectively.

Schedule:

Full‑time | 40 hours per week | Day shift

Start Date:

Interviews begin the week of November 24

Clearance:

Top Secret/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph (required)

Here’s What Your Day‑to‑Day Might Include

Design, maintain, and optimize

CI/CD pipelines

in

GitLab

to streamline build, test, and deployment workflows

Manage and operate

Kubernetes

and

Rancher

environments to support scalable application deployments

Deploy and monitor

AWS‑based workloads , ensuring compliance with mission standards

Implement and maintain robust

monitoring and observability stacks

(Grafana, Prometheus, Elastic APM)

Support

secure, compliant infrastructure operations

across customer ecosystems

Work closely with developers, analysts, and mission partners to troubleshoot issues and iterate rapidly

Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to

non‑technical stakeholders

Proactively identify opportunities to improve infrastructure automation and reliability

Minimum Qualifications Clearance:

Active Top Secret Clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (required).

Citizenship:

Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and twelve (12) years of related experience

OR sixteen (16) years of experience in lieu of a degree

Required Skills

Experience maintaining and automating

CI/CD pipelines

Strong proficiency with

Kubernetes, Rancher, and AWS

environments

Familiarity with

monitoring systems

such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Elastic APM

Experience maintaining

compliant systems

aligned with customer policies and frameworks

Understanding of

DevOps principles

including automation, infrastructure as code, and continuous improvement

Bonus: Experience with

NiFi

or customer

dataflow tools

Desired Skills

Experience analyzing

cybersecurity‑related data

(network traffic, OS events)

Familiarity with

SIGINT systems

and

CNO production environments

Hands‑on experience with

Git and GitLab

Knowledge of

enterprise monitoring and observability strategies

Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross‑functional, high‑visibility environment

Compensation Range: $171,000.00 – $226,000.00 *The salary range provided reflects an estimate based on current market trends and may be adjusted based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications. The final offer will be tailored after a thorough evaluation of the candidate’s background and suitability for the role. Please note that this range is intended as a guideline and is subject to flexibility.
