The Senior Genomics Sales Director is responsible for the overall health and performance of the assigned region. In partnership with the direct manager (Regional Vice President), you are responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies based on opportunity analysis and reviewing results from business analytics. You are responsible for (minimally) meeting your region's sales goals and quotas, creating and maintaining a Regional Business Plan, analyzing data, creating and managing your region's data in the Salesforce CRM, completing assigned sales and company training, and overall maintenance and growth of your region. You must be extremely well informed about Fulgent's service menu and associated science, the markets in which they serve, and therefore be able to accurately forecast sales predictions, shifts in the marketplace, understand the competitive landscape, and educate your manager of potential product improvements and development. As Senior Genomics Sales Director, you will serve as a field advisor to your immediate manager. You must possess an entrepreneurial drive to own the territory as if the role is an independent franchisee of Fulgent Genetics, being responsible for the overall profit and loss of the region. Conduct market analysis, develop sales plans, and adjust sales tactics based on business analytics. Resilience and competitive drive. Act as an advisor to your manager on sales aspects such as business intelligence, market trends, strategy development, and business plan execution. Maintain technical and market expertise, educate the market on Fulgent's products and services. Demonstrate strong knowledge of Fulgent's technologies. Deliver technical presentations, scientific discussions, seminars/webinars, and product demonstrations. Maintain strong Salesforce CRM knowledge and daily commitment. Gather market intelligence and feedback for your manager. Develop and foster relationships with customers, prospects, and partners. Contribute content for marketing materials and applications. Qualifications

Knowledge/Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree with at least five (5) years of successful clinical genomics sales experience in the rare diseases market. Preference for candidates with a BS or MS in life sciences. Proven sales accomplishments spanning at least five (5) years. Experience calling on Children's Hospitals and academic institutions in the rare diseases market. Experience with senior stakeholders. Self-directed, with strong work ethics and initiative. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work in multicultural, dispersed teams. Strong ownership skills. Salesforce CRM proficiency. Ability to interpret policies and regulations, and use tact and diplomacy. Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time. Supervisory Responsibilities
