We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Pediatric Hospitalist Medical Director to lead our esteemed healthcare team at Ohio Health, a top medical facility in Athens, OH. Responsibilities
Lead a team of 3 Pediatric Hospitalists as Medical Director Manage newborn nursery care with NICU support from Pediatrix Neonatologists Provide 24/7 on-call coverage with a round-and-go model, including call from home Perform circumcisions Offer pediatric consultations to the emergency department, including assessments, recommendations, and treatment plans Collaborate with pediatric hospitalists and neonatologists to ensure coordinated patient care Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives and clinical research Engage in knowledge exchange with a large network of Pediatrix providers Qualifications
