Job Summary and Qualifications As an Advanced Patient Care Technician (PCT), your focus is on providing exceptional patient-centered care. You perform basic patient care, maintain a safe environment, and assist nursing staff with specialized tasks under RN supervision, adhering to hospital policies and nursing regulations.
Responsibilities include:
Recording patient data like vital signs, intake/output, and observations.
Assisting with mobility, transfers, and discharges.
Providing non-medicated care such as dressing changes and skin protection.
Collecting specimens accurately.
Helping with activities of daily living and responding promptly to patient needs.
Qualifications:
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
